Privacy policy
This policy explains what information baichdi.com collects, why, and the choices you have. It applies to everyone who visits the site, wherever they are. Last updated: 5 November 2026.
The short version
- You don’t need an account, and we don’t ask for your name or email to use the site.
- Our calculators run in your browser. The salaries, amounts and other figures you type are not sent to us or stored by us.
- We show ads from Google, which uses cookies. Visitors in the UK, EU and Switzerland are asked for consent first.
Information stored on your device
We save the country you choose in your browser’s local storage so the site can show your country’s tools first next time. It stays on your device, we can’t read it, and you can clear it at any time in your browser settings.
Advertising and cookies
We use Google AdSense to show ads. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites, to limit how often you see an ad, and to measure performance. You can learn more in How Google uses information from sites that use its services, and turn off personalised ads in Google’s Ad Settings.
If you are in the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area or Switzerland, a consent message from Google appears on your first visit. Ads are only personalised if you agree, and you can change your choice at any time from the privacy link that appears on the page.
Server logs
Like every website, our hosting provider records basic technical information when pages are requested, such as your IP address, browser type and the page visited. We use this only to keep the site secure and working, and it is deleted on a rolling basis.
When you contact us
If you email us, we use your email address and message only to reply and to fix any problem you report. We don’t add you to mailing lists or share your details.
Legal basis (UK and EU visitors)
We rely on your consent for advertising cookies, and on our legitimate interest in running a secure website for server logs and for replying to messages.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to its use, and to withdraw consent. This includes rights under the UK GDPR, the EU GDPR, California’s CCPA as amended by the CPRA, Canada’s PIPEDA, Australia’s Privacy Act and New Zealand’s Privacy Act 2020. We do not sell personal information. To make a request, contact us. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
The site is not aimed at children under 13 (16 in some countries), and we don’t knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If we change how we use information, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
